Information is the foundation from which every good decision is made. Yet, besides Google and some of the tech giants, most companies struggle with it to their own detriment. Some have gotten so used to the status quo, they may not even recognize it as a problem.
There are two aspects of information to consider, availability and accessibility. Most companies have reasonably good information available, although they could further enhance it, but almost none can properly access it.
Sometimes there are pockets of excellence at these companies; an expert here, an expert there, but there is no unifying capability to simplify accessibility.
In reality: what you don’t know will hurt you, it is mostly just a matter of when.
There is a better way.
